Palau

Republic of Palau

gp:country/plwComplete

The Palau government's ministries page names President Whipps but is otherwise out of date: it still gives J. Uduch S. Senior as Vice President and Minister of Justice, and names no other ministers; the individual ministry pages returned no readable content. All ministers are therefore 'sourced', from the CIA World Leaders list (last updated 4 June 2025) checked against 2025–2026 news and foreign-government releases. Obichang's tenure is confirmed only up to the CIA list of June 2025; no 2026 page opened names him. The UAE release, in Arabic, calls Aitaro 'Minister of Foreign Affairs' (translated); his official title is Minister of State. Finance and Education have no confirmed minister; the President acts in both. A proposed Ministry of the Interior has not been created.

The President is head of state and head of government; ministers are nominated by the President and confirmed by the Senate of the Olbiil Era Kelulau. After the Senate did not confirm the nominees for Finance (Kaleb Udui Jr.) and Education (Dale Jenkins), the President has acted as minister of both ministries; as of 8 October 2026 no new nominees had been named (plw-islandtimes-interior). Dates are the start of each minister’s current term in this government.
