Cabinet taken from the official gazette (decree No. 2026-0062/PT-RM of 12 February 2026 as amended on 4 May 2026); special gazette issues 05 to 09 (6 May to 24 August 2026) contain no further change to the government, and no later change was found in the news. Titles are Govpedia's English translations of the French originals. Names follow the gazette, with family names placed last for married women (e.g. DEMBELE Madina SISSOKO). 'Since' is given only for ministers who entered or changed post in 2026; continuing ministers' original appointment dates were not confirmed. The government portal (primature.ml) was unavailable (HTTP 503). The start date of Assimi Goïta as President of the Transition is left out because references disagree (24/25 May, 28 May or 7 June 2021). One reference dates the term law to 4 July 2025 rather than 3 July.

Assimi Goïta

President of the Transition, Head of State[4][5][6][7]

Holds power under the Transition Charter following the military takeovers of August 2020 and May 2021, without an electoral mandate; Mali has been suspended from the African Union since 1 June 2021 (source: mli-wiki-au-members). On 3 July 2025 the National Transitional Council granted him a five-year term renewable without election (source: mli-wiki-goita). The official gazette and the presidency site confirm that he holds the office; the dispute concerns the basis of his authority, not who exercises it.
