The President, elected by the National Assembly, is head of state and government. The government portal (gov.bw) refused automated access (HTTP 503) and the government Daily News site carries no 2026 cabinet items, so every seat is sourced to reference pages, not verified. Assistant ministers are not listed. Sources differ on details: the Boko cabinet page dates Edwin Dikoloti's appointment as Minister of Lands and Agriculture to 4 June 2026, while the Cabinet of Botswana page lists him as acting minister since 26 July 2025; the two pages date Keoagile Atamelang's move to Transport 19 and 21 August 2026; and the CIA list (updated 20 May 2026) still names Noah Salakae at Transport and adds a Minister of Tertiary Education (Douglas Letsholathebe) that neither reference page lists. Party labels are given only where both reference pages agree. Dates are the start of each minister’s current term in this government.
