The government portal names the President but lists ministries without ministers, and the Office of the President and Cabinet site (theopc.gov.zw) was suspended when checked, so ministers are sourced, not verified. The list follows Wikipedia's Third Cabinet of Emmerson Mnangagwa table (current from 8 October 2026), checked against the CIA World Leaders list (updated 13 February 2026) and press reports of each 2025-2026 change. Start dates are from Wikipedia; where it shows only a year (Sanyatwe 2025, Rwodzi 2023, Mhona 2021, Mavhunga 2024, Mutsvangwa 2023, Machakaire 2023) no date is given. Wikipedia records Anselem Sanyatwe replacing Kirsty Coventry at Sports in 2025 without an exact date, so no event is recorded. The system is described as a presidential republic in the body of Wikipedia's Politics of Zimbabwe page; its infobox says 'parliamentary republic with an executive presidency', and Wikipedia's list of systems of government classes Zimbabwe as an assembly-independent republic.

Emmerson Mnangagwa

President of the Republic · 24 Nov 2017 – present[3][4][5]

The government portal names him as President; the start date is from Wikipedia. The Constitution of Zimbabwe Amendment (No. 3) Act, signed on 7 July 2026, lengthens presidential terms from five to seven years and applies this to the sitting President, which critics say extends his tenure from 2028 to 2030; opposition parties and the Law Society argue a referendum was required, and court challenges were filed (two were struck off by the Constitutional Court on 17 June 2026 without a ruling on the merits). His current tenure is not itself contested.
